The Bermuda 2009 Steering Committee is looking for submissions in the Visual Arts, Music, Dance and Writing. The work must embrace or be inspired by the 400th Anniversary - CELEBRATING BERMUDA AND HER PEOPLE. The work must be NEW, i.e. unseen, created anytime from Sept. 2008. Submissions may include the following but are not limited to:

Visual Arts

2-dimensional art, sculpture, photography, multi-media.
Deadline for submissions June 30,2009

Dance

ballet, jazz, modern or tap.
Deadline for submissions June 30, 2009

Music

songs in varying genre, muscial compositions.
Deadline for submissions - June 30, 2009

Writing

Essay, poetry, fiction, play.
Deadline March 31, 2009

The winning entries will be displayed at the Premier's Gala which will celebrate Bermuda's 400th Anniversary - Saturday Nov.21, 2009.

There will be three (3) prizes awarded in each category:

1st Prize - $2,500

2nd Prize - $1,000.

Each category will have a Youth winner (18yrs of age and younger) - $1,000
