- Under the Distinguished Patronage of The Premier of Bermuda and Mrs Brown, the Bermuda 2009 Committee will be sponsoring the Anniversary Gala evening on Saturday December 5th at Southampton Princess Hotel. Come and celebrate the end of this amazing anniversary year.
The winners of the Bermuda 2009 Open Call Competition for the Performing Arts and Writing will be honoured, and have their work showcased. You will enjoy the wonderful sounds of the Tommy Ray Orchestra while dining on a delectable feast.

- “FOR THE PEOPLE EVENT - CELEBRATING THE COMMUNITY” IN NORTH HAMILTON
- 'For the People Event' will be celebrating/recognising some of the stalwarts in the community and celebrate the 400th Anniversary. It will be a true festival, designed to end the year in a positive fashion in the heart of Pembroke, giving hope and energy to all who attend. This intergenereational event will feature powerful messages of harmony from local performers. Event Coordinator, Gina Spence Farmer, says that it will celebrate community values and remind us of the things that have stood the test of time. It is an event for the entire family. There will be song, dance, DJ's, fashion show featuring clothing from EE Zone retailers, and a fun-filled kid's zone. This free event will also feature a Happy Birthday Bermuda Celebration, local artists, a tent of highlighting our history via art, crafts and literature.

- A concert worship service in the Arts that would include Arts ministers and ministries from churches across the island in the areas of: Music, Dance, Drama, Mime, Step, Music, Singing, Flags, Banners, Tambourines, Multi-Media etc. It wouldwill involve young and old, men, women and various churches/denominations.
