- TITANIC EXHIBIT at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute BUEI
- The Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute (BEUI) will emphasize Bermudians' association with their heritage through shipwrecks and the connection the Titanic had with Bermuda through the shipwreck, Caraquet, wrecked to the north of Bermuda on June 25th 1923. The Caraquet, an English passenger steamer, bound from Halifax, Nova Scotia, to Bermuda and then to the West Indies. The Titanic has the same deck windows and bench ends and was built in the same shipyard, Harland and Wolfe. Mr. Vincent Astor, son of Lord John Jacob Astor (who died on the Titanic) built and owned the large house "Astor Hall" on Ferry Reach.
